When you hear Candi's bombastic Rock & Roll and Rythm & Blues numbers, it is hard to believe that she is also a church organist. But, believe! After all, she recieved almost five years of classical organ instruction from Richard Purvis and six years of classical piano lessons from Nella Bettinger, Victoria Bond and Maurice Zam. The classics and liturgical music are definetly within her realm. You can hear her play at Saint James Episcopal Church in Langhorne PA at

The organ that Candi plays at St. James is 'Russel & Company, Organ Builders' opus number one, a 2 manual 12 rank that Candi makes sound larger. Candi calls it 'Uno' and makes a big deal of it being #1.
